Client Challenge

A nonprofit education group observed that most CME participants completed activities once but rarely returned for follow-up or deeper learning. Their goal was to create a model that would support long-term retention and practical application, not just box-checking.

What We Did

We redesigned their program to create a sequenced, high-engagement learning experience. The structure included:

A core accredited module focused on foundational knowledge

Drip email follow-ups featuring microlearning and clinical pearls

Interactive patient cases with branching logic

Visual summaries and infographics for knowledge reinforcement

Everything was hosted on our custom LMS and optimized for mobile access.

The Impact

68% of learners returned for at least one follow-up module

Completion rates were 30% higher than the client’s previous program

Over 90% of participants rated the new format as effective or highly effective

The client adopted the model across additional therapeutic areas

Why It Matters

Retention requires more than strong content. This case showed how good design, timely follow-up, and learner-centric delivery can keep clinical education relevant, memorable, and actionable.
